Join the family… as a Volunteer or Trustee

Family Help is recruiting for new volunteers and Trustees to help the team with their mission to support domestic abuse survivors and raise awareness of domestic abuse issues.

You could make a real difference to the lives of many women and children every year by becoming a volunteer and helping with the essential tasks that make Family Help such a special place.  We’re looking for additional volunteers to help us in a number of areas including fundraising, awareness-raising, digital marketing, donation management, grounds maintenance and more.

We are also looking for Trustees to join our Board and help to shape the future of Family Help, ensuring our charity’s success and longevity.  Trustees need to be able to commit to attending regular meetings and supporting charity events throughout the year.  You don’t need to have previous experience, just a desire to make a difference.

What our Trustees say… “When I first became a Trustee, I was struck by the sense of family in the charity. I realised then that a family can be, simply people who come together with a shared desire to help one another…” Family Help Trustee.

If you are keen to support us as a volunteer or Trustee, we would love to hear from you! Email your interest to or call us on 01325 364486 for more information.
